Regency has been building fireplaces just outside Vancouver since 1979, under its parent company FPI, and it is the brand we install more of than any other. The reason is unglamorous and important: Regency units are built heavy, and they tend to still be working properly a decade in. When we recommend a fireplace to someone who wants to buy once, this is usually where the conversation starts.
What we stock
Regency has the widest range on our floor. The City Series (New York, Chicago Corner, San Francisco Bay, Santa Monica Pier, Seattle) covers modern linear and see-through formats, while Grandview, Bellavista and Panorama serve the traditional log-and-ember look. For an existing masonry fireplace, the Liberty, Horizon and Gi insert lines are our most-installed conversions. Hampton, Contura and the Ultimate series cover freestanding stoves, and the Plateau and Horizon Outdoor units handle the patio.
Who it suits
Regency is the pick when longevity and serviceability matter more than chasing the lowest price. Parts availability is excellent, our technicians know these units cold, and the build quality shows up in the years you do not think about the fireplace at all.
We sell, install and service Regency across Toronto and the GTA, including units we did not supply. See our installation, maintenance and repair services, or visit the showroom to see what is burning.
Frequently asked questions
Regency is a Canadian company, building fireplaces near Vancouver since 1979 under its parent company FPI. It is part of the NIBE group and supplies retailers across North America, Europe and Asia.
Yes. Our technicians service Regency gas fireplaces, inserts and stoves across Toronto and the GTA, whether or not the unit came from us.
The Liberty, Horizon and Gi insert lines are built for exactly that. Which one fits comes down to your firebox dimensions, so bring measurements or photos and we can narrow it quickly.
Regency is the strictest of the major brands on this point: its warranty makes the original purchaser responsible for annual maintenance and asks you to keep service records and receipts. Treat your annual service invoice as a warranty document.
