A fireplace works hard through a Toronto winter. An annual service keeps it burning cleanly, catches small problems before they become repairs, and keeps most manufacturer warranties valid.
What our service includes
For gas fireplaces, we clean the glass, logs and burner, test the pilot and ignition system, check the venting and safety controls, and confirm the unit operates to the manufacturer's specifications. For wood-burning fireplaces and stoves, we inspect the firebox, gaskets and door seals, and advise on chimney sweeping. Electric units get a careful inspection and cleaning as well.
When to book
Late summer and early fall are the best times to book, before the first cold snap fills the schedule. If your fireplace has gone more than a year without a service, it is worth booking ahead of the season so it is ready when you need it.
