Napoleon is the local one. The company started as Wolf Steel in 1976, a family business in Barrie making steel railings, and grew into the largest privately owned fireplace and grill manufacturer in North America. It is still family-owned and still headquartered in Barrie, roughly an hour from our showroom. That proximity is not just a nice story: parts move fast, and our technicians have been working on these units for years.

What we stock

The Ascent is the workhorse and the unit we quote most often when someone wants a dependable built-in without a designer budget. Above it sit the Altitude, Elevation and Elevation X. For modern linear walls there is the Vector, Tall Vector and Luxuria, and the see-through HD81 is the one people stop walking for. The Oakville series is our go-to insert for turning an existing wood fireplace into gas, and the GDS line covers cast iron stoves.

Who it suits

Napoleon spans more of the price range than anyone else we carry, so it suits both a straightforward replacement and a feature-wall renovation. If you want Ontario-built with the widest choice of formats, start here. Our best gas fireplaces guide explains where the Ascent lands against the rest of the field.

We sell, install and service Napoleon across Toronto and the GTA, including units we did not supply. See our installation, maintenance and repair services, or visit the showroom to see what is burning.

Yes. We service the full Napoleon range across Toronto and the GTA, including fireplaces we did not sell. Being close to Barrie also means parts tend to arrive quickly.

The Oakville insert series, in sizes from about 24,000 to 40,000 BTU depending on model. Your existing firebox dimensions decide which one fits.

The Ascent is the accessible workhorse with a classic flame picture across four sizes. The Altitude sits above it with a more substantial flame presentation and more finishing options.
